I went to
visit a couple I know very well. They were busy doing stuff in this room when I
arrived. I watched them for a while doing things.
He was
preparing a sermon and writing it by hand into a notebook. In between each
paragraph he would get up and walk over to this piece of clay art work he was
painting. He would pick up the paint brush and dip it into the green paint and
then he would carefully stroke the paint onto this piece of clay vase type
thing very delicately.
When he saw
me standing there we both smiled at each other happy to see each other. He
looked like he was in a playful mood then he dipped his fingers into the green
paint and smeared it all over my face! I laughed and joked that he was a shocking
friend and that now he'd wrecked my face and I had to go now and clean up! He
laughed and we said good bye.
So I walked
down the road to the water. I leant over and saw my reflection in the water -
clear as day. I saw that I did not have as much green paint on my face as I
first thought and there were only a couple of faint stripes on the right side
of my cheek. I cupped some water into my hands and cleaned the paint off.
I stood up
and straightened myself and as I turned around... there before me was a mass of
seagulls and pelicans. There were billions of them and they were all looking at
me and smiling! I was completely astounded and stared for a while... then I
thought I gotta take a picture of this! So I took out my phone and took a picture
and then uploaded it to Facebook!!
